“In a portfolio of about 300 units,” Bearden said, “I can comfortably say that there’s only been about two people who have really tried to leverage this to exploit conflict. By and large, we’re finding that people are working with each other in their buildings, with their landlords and the management companies to find ways to resolve it.”
