Last week, President Albert LaValley arranged for his employees to tour Assawaga Farm, where farmers Yoko Takemura and Alex Carpenter create and maintain fertility using organic practices. The couple focuses on amplifying flavor in their vegetables rather than yielding a massive harvest.
